" On the boundary of development - semi-desert flora, grasses and hills touched by heat, rain, cloud shadow, residential development, and human activity are my current subject. I draw changes that occur by the minute or by the season. Untamed aggressive marks, to those with a softer confidence, portray qualities required to survive while yielding to spontaneous natural forces and deliberate human activity. As an Okanagan artist I find that the underlying theme of my art is a comparison of the effects of human forces to course of nature.
